Getting a smooth picture in Toronto

Toronto’s towers are great for views and tough on Wi-Fi: dozens of neighbouring networks compete on the same channels, especially in the evening. Two habits help most. Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi, or better, a short Ethernet cable to your Firestick or box. And if the router sits in a closet by the door, a simple mesh point near the TV often fixes buffering for good.

In houses, the usual challenge is the basement: thick floors weaken the signal from an upstairs router. A wired Android TV box downstairs is the reliable option. For the full setup, follow our Firestick guide, then compare plan lengths on the Canada pricing page.

Questions people ask

Does IPTV work in a condo with crowded Wi-Fi?
Yes, but dense buildings mean lots of competing Wi-Fi networks. Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi rather than 2.4 GHz, keep the router in the same room as the TV if you can, or run a short Ethernet cable to your Firestick or box.
Which internet plan do I need in Toronto?
Any plan from the big providers or the smaller independent ones works, as long as it gives a steady 10 Mbps per HD screen. If your plan has a data cap, keep in mind that HD video uses around 1.5 to 3 GB per hour.
Will the TV guide show Eastern time?
Player apps use your device’s time zone. If programs look shifted, adjust the EPG time shift in the app settings instead of the TV clock.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can test the service free for 48 hours before choosing a plan: fill in the trial form with your name and email, and we send your test login by email. How testing works.
How many devices can I use?
Each plan covers one device. To watch on more screens at the same time, choose up to 4 devices in the selector above the plans. The total is the plan price multiplied by the number of devices, and you see it before you order.
How do I get my login after ordering?
Tap Order on the plan you want. WhatsApp opens with your plan, number of devices and total already written. Send the message: we confirm your order on WhatsApp and send your login details with the setup steps for your device.
