Common problems

I don't know which system my TV runs
Look at the home screen and the settings menu: Google TV and Android TV mention Google; Samsung says Tizen or Smart Hub; LG shows webOS; Roku and Fire TV show their own logos on the start screen.
My TV's app store doesn't have any player
Common on older or budget TVs. Plug in a Firestick or an Android TV box: it costs little and works on any TV with HDMI.
Buffering on the TV's built-in Wi-Fi
TV Wi-Fi chips are often weak. Use the Ethernet port if there is one, or a streaming stick closer to the router. Read the guide

Quick answers

Do I need a box if I have a smart TV?
Not if your TV runs Google TV, Android TV or Fire TV, or has a good player in its store. Otherwise, a box or stick is the easiest fix.
Which smart TV is best for IPTV?
TVs running Google TV or Android TV, such as many Sony, Philips, TCL and Hisense models, because they install the same apps as a streaming box.
Can one subscription work on my smart TV and my phone?
Yes. Each device watching at the same time counts as one connection on your plan.
